- A little bit about Saskia
- I’m a Junior Creative at It’s Nice That with previous experience working across leading design studios. This has seen me working across 2D and 3D design, branding, concept and art direction.
- What Saskia is excited about
- At work I am really excited by other people. Seeing high value in learning from others and championing the skill and craft of different design practices. The beauty of creative work is being part of a community and seeing the joy in projects outside of your own.
- What Saskia can help most with
- With previous mentorship experience I’m the person to pair up with for portfolio and careers advice reflective of the creative industries. I have been there and I have done it and know a lot about the practicalities of being a fresh face in the world of design.
Pair Up Pros often have numerous requests so please be patient as we work through applications. We'll let you know by email if we're able to offer you a slot. By applying you agree to:
- Check the details. Be sure you can definitely make the date and time slot you have applied for.
- Be on time. Join a few minutes early. Your 30-minute slot starts and ends as scheduled, so a late arrival means less time with your pro.
- Come prepared. Think about what you want to get out of the time: questions, feedback on your work or something you're stuck on. The more you bring, the more useful it'll be.
- Keep it respectful. Treat your pro's time, advice and boundaries with the same generosity they're showing you.
- Show up! Remember that Pair Up Pros are kindly giving up their time to support emerging talent. We know meeting new people can be nerve-wracking, but we promise it'll be worth it.
- Give notice if plans change. Life happens! If you genuinely can't make it, let us know as soon as you can so we can offer your slot to someone else.
