Creative Opps Mentorship Scheme - 2024-2025

The Creative Opps mentorship scheme is back. Over six months young budding creatives aged between 16-25 and based in London will be paired with experienced professionals within a relevant field. They will meet online, in person or hybrid for at least 1-2 hours a month over six months. Led by the mentee, the mentor will be a sounding board, provide and advise and share the experiences with their mentee, as well as hands on experience like shadowing, initiation to meetings, shows/any activities related to their field.

Mentee interests cover all aspects of the creative industries: film, TV, graphic design, project management, sports, marketing, PR, podcasts, communications, music, dance, business - you name it! Our current mentors work in organisations including leading entertainment communications agency inside/out, Greenacre Films, Bella Figura Music, BBC, Netflix, TIME Magazine, The Guardian as well as freelancers in acting, sports, podcast, radio and much more.

Creative Opps CIO was established in 2020 as a charity giving young people who have faced socio-economic disadvantage access to the tools, networks, and experience that they need to independently achieve their ambitions.

We deliver user-led programmes, designed by and for young people, to support members in creating positive change for themselves and their communities. Whether this be through mentoring, work placements or bespoke individual support, we are here to unlock potential and make a lasting impact on a young person’s life.
